Who We Are
For more than 25 years, IntexForms, Inc. has established a reputation as the foremost designer and manufacturer of lightweight, high-performance architectural products. We are a proud American brand, manufacturing every product in the USA, shipped direct from our California fabrication facilities.
We Are Innovators and Leaders Within Our Industry
In the 1990s, IntexForms developed a unique solution to a problem that every architect must address: access panels. Every building is required to have some form of ceiling and wall access panel solution. In the past these panels were manufactured from steel, clashing with the desired aesthetics of any room and vulnerable to rusting and flexing over time.
our solution was to develop access panels made from glass fiber reinforced gypsum (GRFG), which can be finished to blend seamlessly with any wall or ceiling.
Today, IntexForms access panels are an industry standard. Our panels are specifically named on the design documents of projects all across the World.
no competitor offers access panels matching the performance and durability of IntexForms panels, and we apply our innovative approach to every product we design and deliver.
IntexForms Provides Interior and Exterior Solutions
that meet and exceed the demands of any project.
Whether you need hundreds of hinged access panels for a new hotel development, want to replace panels in an existing structure, or need other GFRG/GFRC architectural products, IntexForms can deliver for projects of any size. We produce the following products:
We make LEED-certified interior access panels from GFRG. For exterior solutions, we also produce cement variants designed for high moisture areas.
IntexForms creates full-columns based on a variety of architectural styles, for exterior facades, to hide metal structural supports, and more.
We craft domes and vaulted coffers from GFRG or fiber-reinforced plastic, able to match the desired roof and ceiling aesthetic for any project, from hotels to temples of worship.
IntexForms produces a range of molding solutions to provide a critical finishing touch where walls meet floor surfaces.
John W. McCoy – President/Principal
John McCoy has been working with custom molded products most of his adult life. From fabricating fiberglass for Disney rides to helping design advanced auto-body FRP, John was already a professional-level designer before Intex existed. Upon starting Intex Forms in 1994, John’s focus has been to create products that cut no corners and meet the stringent demands of the building industry. One such instance in the early 1990’s where a contractor needed a seamless ceiling access solution, John created what we all now know as the GFRG Access Panel. John’s contributions to Intex Forms and the industry as a whole have been recognized and applauded worldwide.
It is not uncommon to find John on the floor helping solve problems and train his team in best practices. In his free time John enjoys spending time with his family doing a variety of things such as Hiking, Surfing, Off-Roading and Fishing.
